Our client is seeking a dependable and organized Venue Lead to oversee event logistics, equipment management, warehouse operations, and event execution. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for coordinating labor, preparing equipment, managing transportation and setup, maintaining inventory, and ensuring events run smoothly from start to finish.
Pay and schedule: $20.00 p/h to start. Full-time position with a schedule that will vary based on event needs. This role includes both event-day responsibilities and warehouse operations between events.
What you'll do:
Prepare equipment quantities and requirements for upcoming events
Determine labor needs and coordinate temporary staffing
Load trucks with required equipment and event materials
Transport equipment to and from event venues
Unload, stage, and set up equipment according to promoter specifications
Oversee event setup and breakdown operations
Strike events and ensure equipment is removed within venue timelines
Coordinate equipment transfers between events to maximize efficiency
Develop loading plans and improve event-to-event logistics
Manage inventory and equipment availability
Track and coordinate vehicle maintenance schedules
Maintain communication with logistics personnel and management
Clean drape and event materials as needed
Press linens and prepare materials for future events
Organize warehouse inventory and storage areas
Repair and replace equipment as necessary
Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment
Continuously improve warehouse maneuverability and operational efficiency
Monitor shared equipment usage across multiple events
Balance event responsibilities with non-event warehouse operations
Perform other related duties as assigned
What you'll need:
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to lead crews and coordinate temporary labor
Experience with logistics, warehouse operations, event production, or related fields preferred
Ability to safely lift and move event equipment
Strong problem-solving and planning abilities
Experience with inventory management and equipment tracking
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
Ability to work flexible hours based on event schedules
Ability to pass a drug screen and a background check
