Shipping and Receiving Specialist - Boise

Our client is seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to assist with packaging, shipping, receiving, order processing, and customer service. This is an excellent full-time temp-to-hire opportunity with a Monday–Friday schedule. If you have strong organizational skills and enjoy hands-on warehouse and customer service work, apply today! 

Pay and schedule: $18.00/hour + DOE. Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM. 

What you’ll do:

• Read, understand, and fulfill customer-specific packaging requirements

• Prepare products for shipment by creating shipping labels and securely wrapping packages to prevent damage

• Assemble boxes and crates for shipping

• Enter shipment information into customer portals

• Receive, ship, and process customer orders

• Clean products and prepare them for shipment

• Assist customers in person and by phone

• Stock shelves, bins, and inventory areas

• Provide outstanding customer service to internal and external customers

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

• Perform other related duties as assigned

What you’ll need:

• Previous packaging or shipping experience is preferred

• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills

• Ability to work well with staff members and customers

• Ability to regularly lift up to 60 lbs.

• Computer experience with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to work occasional overtime as needed

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to work

• Forklift experience is preferred but not required

• Ability to understand shop drawings and follow established SOPs

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

• Must be drug-free
