General Labor - Boise

Personnel Plus, Inc. is now hiring a temporary general laborer in Boise, Idaho!

Our client is immediately hiring Granite Installation Helpers to assist with material preparation, transportation, fabrication, and countertop installation. These are temporary, as-needed assignments with pre-scheduled dates (next available shift is 9/8/2026). Transportation from the Garden City shop to each job site is provided.

Pay and schedule: $20/hour. Day shifts begin between 6:55 AM and 7:55 AM and continue until the work is complete—potentially 6:30 PM or later.

What you’ll do:

• Prepare materials and job sites for countertop installation

• Tape down protective coverings and remove old countertops and caulking

• Load, unload, and transport granite and marble slabs

• Assist with cutting, polishing, and finishing stone materials

• Help installers position and install countertops at job sites

• Measure and prepare materials under supervision

• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and safe

• Follow safety procedures while handling heavy materials and equipment

• Perform other general-labor duties as assigned

What you’ll need:

• Ability to regularly lift and carry materials weighing 50–100 pounds or more

• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical work throughout long shifts

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with a team

• Reliable transportation to the Garden City shop and punctual attendance

• Comfortable working around dust, noise, and heavy equipment

• Basic math and measurement skills are preferred

• Construction or stonework experience is helpful but not required

• Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
