Will train! Our client is immediately hiring a Fabrication Machine Operator Apprentice. This is a great opportunity for a mechanically inclined individual to learn specialized metal fabrication equipment, including CNC, while producing aluminum components for semi-trailer manufacturing.

Pay and schedule: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM. $19.00/hour to start. Full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with excellent benefits upon hire. Enjoy a four-day workweek and three-day weekends!

What you’ll do:

  • Learn to operate a variety of metal fabrication machines used to cut, punch, drill, mill, and prepare aluminum components

  • Operate laser, punch, CNC, and other specialized fabrication equipment

  • Learn to operate specialized aluminum fabrication equipment

  • Load and unload aluminum materials and finished components

  • Set up and run equipment according to work orders and production requirements

  • Select and run machine programs when applicable

  • Read work orders, drawings, and measurements to produce accurate parts

  • Inspect finished components for proper dimensions, cuts, holes, and overall quality

  • Label, stack, and stage completed parts for welding and assembly

  • Perform basic machine adjustments, troubleshooting, and routine operator maintenance

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

  • Follow all company safety and manufacturing procedures

  • Additional duties as assigned

What you’ll need:

  • No previous CNC or fabrication machine experience required – we will train!

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn specialized equipment

  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure and good math skills

  • Ability to follow written work orders, measurements, and instructions

  • Strong attention to detail and quality

  • Ability to safely lift and handle manufacturing materials

  • Dependable attendance and ability to work as part of a production team

  • Ability to pass a drug screening
