Personnel Plus, Inc. is now hiring a Part-Time Administrative Assistant – Elections in Boise, Idaho.
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and people-focused Administrative Assistant to support election worker training operations during the upcoming election cycle. This temporary position works closely with the Elections Trainer to coordinate training classes, assist poll workers, and provide administrative support to ensure a professional and successful training experience.
Pay and schedule: $18.00/hour. Part-time, 20–25 hours per week. Assignment runs September 21 through November 3. Hours will vary based on training schedules and may include both daytime hours during the regular workweek and evening training sessions until 8:00 PM. Some Saturday work is required, and candidates must be available for full-day shifts on November 2 and November 3.
What you’ll do:
Assist with election training class set-up and take-down
Welcome and support poll workers attending training sessions
Process training paperwork and required documentation
Issue assignment letters and training materials
Perform data entry and general administrative support tasks
Answer phones and assist with inquiries from poll workers and the public
Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation is completed correctly
Support the Elections Trainer with training logistics and coordination
Provide exceptional customer service to election staff and poll workers
Perform other related duties as assigned
What you’ll need:
Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
Friendly, professional verbal and written communication skills
Strong customer service skills and the ability to work with diverse groups of people
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Dependable attendance and punctuality
Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy in administrative processes
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to pass a background check
