Temporary Welder  

Personnel Plus, Burley is seeking a reliable and motivated Welder for a temporary assignment beginning July 6th. This position is ideal for candidates with hands-on welding experience who are committed to quality workmanship and workplace safety. This work will take place in a food processing facility.
Schedule

    Monday – Friday, 7 AM – 3:30 PM
    Overtime required as needed
    Anticipated duration: 3 weeks to 1 month
    July 1st – Assignment End

Responsibilities

    Perform TIG welding and fabrication on stainless steel materials
    Changing motors, conveyors, bearings, and maintain rollers
    Read and follow work instructions and specifications
    Assist with equipment maintenance and shop projects as needed
    Maintain a clean and safe work environment
    Follow all company safety procedures and policies
    Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications

    Must be able to pass a weld test
    Experience with TIG welding required
    Experience with welding stainless steel required
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and team lift heavier materials when necessary
    Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
    Ability to work around welding fumes, sparks, loud noise, and bright light while wearing proper PPE
    Ability to stand for extended periods (8+ hour shifts)
    Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, and reach overhead regularly
    Comfortable working in shop environments and varying temperatures
    Steel-toed boots required for this job
    Must have own welding hood and PPE
    Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Compensation

    Pay is $20.00 + DOE (Depending on Experience)
