Residential Support Staff/Children’s Residential Home  

    Full-time, 40 hours a week
    Monday – Friday 11 pm – 7 am & Friday – Sunday, 7 pm – 7 am
    Two shifts available!
    $17.00-$20.00 p/h DOE
    Temp-to-hire opportunity in Caldwell, ID

 

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Direct Care: Assist residents with daily activities, including personal care, ambulation, and exercise
    Medication Assistance: Aid residents with self-administered medications as per individual support plans​
    Skill Development: Teach and support residents in developing life skills to promote independence
    Environmental Maintenance: Perform household services essential to maintaining a safe and clean living environment
    Record Keeping: Monitor and document changes in residents’ conditions, needs, and progress toward goals
    Community Integration: Accompanying children on outings, to school, appointments, and community activities. Promoting children’s independence and life skills development

REQUIREMENTS:

    At least one year of full-time work experience with children in a social service setting is preferred
    Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
    Must obtain and maintain CPR and First Aid certifications.​
    Preferred certification with administering medications
    Preferred certification in a national behavior management course (CPI, MAB, etc.)
    Ability to pass a comprehensive background check as required by Idaho state regulations
    Must have a valid driver’s license
