Receptionist/Office Specialist II- $15.25 P/H Temporary  

    Excellent opportunity with a State agency in Boise, ID
    $15.25 p/h
    Monday- Friday, 8 am- 5 pm
    Temporary assignment, 11/12-12/23, 2024

Duties:

    Create a welcoming environment by greeting guests, answering phone calls, directing visitors, and taking messages
    Sort and distribute incoming mail to employees; prepare outgoing mail and packages
    Receive payments from customers and create receipts
    Monitor and distribute emails
    Check agency vehicles in and out to employees
    Assist with other tasks as needed, including but not limited to scanning/printing/filing documents, creating/reviewing/processing documents and records, identifying and correcting errors and omissions on documents received from staff, States andor public, and maintaining records
    Answer calls, direct properly, and take messages
    Other related tasks as assigned

Requirements:

    Positive attitude for greeting customers and clients in a friendly and warm manner upon arrival to the office or through the phone
    Good knowledge of rules of effective English usage, spelling, punctuation, and grammar
    Experience answering a business telephone and following business telephone procedures and etiquette
    Experience using a computer to enter and retrieve information
    Experience with calendar and scheduling software
    Experience operating word processing and spreadsheet software
    Experience cashiering and using basic math skills
    Microsoft Office Suite
    Professional appearance and demeanor
    Prompt and reliable
    Accurate data entry skills (Minimum typing speed of 45 + WPM)
    Able to pass a background check and drug screen
