Packaging Technician $18.00 p/h+ $DOE$-Boise, ID  

    Monday- Friday, 7:30 am- 4:30 pm with occasional overtime.

    $18.00 p/h
    Excellent Opportunity to work with a local manufacturer of custom plastic fabricated equipment

 Duties:

    Responsible for reading, understanding, and fulfilling all customer packaging requirements
    Standing for long periods at a time
    cleaning products
    Preparing products for shipping, by creating shipping labels, and wrapping to protect packages from damage in shipping
    Assembling boxes/crates
    Submitting shipment info into customer portals
    Other duties may include learning and assisting the quality department, and/or warehouse shipping/receiving

  Requirements:

    Previous packaging experience is desired
    Must be able to work well with staff members
    Must be well-organized and detail-oriented
    Must be able to lift 60 lbs regularly
    Computer experience is required for Windows and all Microsoft Office Suite products
    Must be available to work occasional overtime
    Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to work
    Being able to operate a forklift is great but not mandatory
    Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
    Must be able to understand shop drawings and follow established SOPs
