As a Production Packer, you will pack finished plastic shells as they come off the molding machines, check them for visible defects, and stage completed cases for shipping. The pace is steady and the work is hands-on, with training provided on the line. This position is located at a plastics plant in Payette, Idaho, an easy commute from Fruitland, New Plymouth, and Ontario.
Pay and Schedule: $15/hour Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm
What you'll do:
Work as part of a production team manufacturing thermoformed plastic packaging
Organize and pack plastic clam shell packages, blister packs, and trays at a quality pace
Perform quality inspections
Accurately count parts for packaging
Ensure accurate, detailed labeling
Prepare boxes for new product runs
Palletize boxes according to specifications
Report quality concerns
Any other duties as assigned
What you'll need:
Able to stand for the shift duration
Able to walk up and down short platforms
Able to safely lift and move up to 37 lbs.
Able to follow safety requirements
Work well in a team environment
Able to pass a background check
