Grounds Maintenance Technician- Nampa

Personnel Plus is now hiring for Grounds Maintenance in Nampa, ID.

As a Grounds Maintenance Technician, you will be required to help maintain public landscaped areas in Nampa ID. Utilizing mowers, trimmers and the application of fertilizers.

Pay and schedule: $16.00/hr Monday- Friday, Seasonal, 7:00am- 3:30 PM

What you'll do:

• Operate and maintain landscaping equipment including mowers, chainsaws, trimmers, and other power tools

• Perform routine lawn care such as mowing, edging, fertilizing, and weed control

• Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of sprinkler and irrigation systems

• Plant, prune, and maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, and other vegetation

• Safely handle and apply chemicals such as herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizers in accordance with regulations

• Support forestry operations including tree trimming, removal, and general care

• Maintain ball fields and recreational areas to ensure safe and playable conditions

• Perform general park maintenance including cleanup, debris removal, and minor repairs

• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines when operating equipment and handling materials

• Any other duties assigned

What you'll need:

• Valid driver’s license required

• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials (50+ lbs.)

• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for Prolonged periods of time

• Some experience in landscaping, grounds keeping, or a related field preferred

• Ability to safely operate power tools and lawn care equipment

• Basic knowledge of irrigation systems and plant care

• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team

• Drug-free
