Ditch rider  

Our client is looking for a full-time candidate who would like to start a new career with the irrigation district and will start as a ditch rider and eventually obtain a CDL-A.
Full-time Position
March to October
24/7 on call
The schedule is 12 days on 3 days off this is between March and October
Then from October to March is 7:30 am-4 pm Monday- Friday
Qualifications
•    Beneficial if resides in the Burley-Declo area
•    Must be a self-starter, punctual, honest, and hardworking
•    Must be detail-oriented, patient, reliable, and possess good communication skills
•    High School graduate or completed GED
•    Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
•    Complete pre-employment drug screening and background check
•    Must be able to perform physically demanding labor as needed
•    Must have basic computer Knowledge
Responsibilities
•    Maintain the assigned area of the canal system (approximately 150 E to 550 E) during the irrigation season (March - October) including monitoring water delivery, burning ditches, and weed control
•    Assist with offseason maintenance of canals, facilities, and equipment
