Pay and schedule: $26.00–$29.00/hour, depending on experience. Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM. Excellent benefits!
What you’ll do:
Perform TIG and Stick welding on various metal components, ensuring strong and precise welds
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to ensure accurate welding and assembly
Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet company standards and regulatory requirements
Operate and maintain welding machines and perform routine equipment maintenance
Assemble electric immersion heaters by attaching electrical components, wiring, and heating elements to heater housings
Test electrical components and verify connections are secure and meet safety standards
Perform quality control testing on immersion heaters, including resistance, temperature, and insulation checks
Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
Clean and maintain welding machines, hand tools, and other equipment
Perform other related duties as assigned
What you’ll need:
1+ years of welding and mechanical/electrical assembly experience, preferably in heating or industrial manufacturing
Proficiency in TIG and Stick welding
Knowledge of various metals, including steel, stainless steel, titanium, and other materials
Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and heating elements, particularly for immersion heaters
Ability to safely lift and move components weighing up to 50 lbs.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and stand for extended periods
Comfortable working in an industrial environment and around welding fumes
Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a strong attention to detail
Must be drug-free
