Our client is seeking an experienced welder to perform TIG and Stick welding, assemble electric immersion heaters, and complete quality control testing in an industrial manufacturing environment. Pay and schedule: $26.00–$29.00/hour, depending on experience. Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM. Excellent benefits!

What you’ll do:

  • Perform TIG and Stick welding on various metal components, ensuring strong and precise welds

  • Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to ensure accurate welding and assembly

  • Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet company standards and regulatory requirements

  • Operate and maintain welding machines and perform routine equipment maintenance

  • Assemble electric immersion heaters by attaching electrical components, wiring, and heating elements to heater housings

  • Test electrical components and verify connections are secure and meet safety standards

  • Perform quality control testing on immersion heaters, including resistance, temperature, and insulation checks

  • Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas

  • Clean and maintain welding machines, hand tools, and other equipment

  • Perform other related duties as assigned

What you’ll need:

  • 1+ years of welding and mechanical/electrical assembly experience, preferably in heating or industrial manufacturing

  • Proficiency in TIG and Stick welding

  • Knowledge of various metals, including steel, stainless steel, titanium, and other materials

  • Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and heating elements, particularly for immersion heaters

  • Ability to safely lift and move components weighing up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and stand for extended periods

  • Comfortable working in an industrial environment and around welding fumes

  • Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a strong attention to detail

  • Must be drug-free
