Personnel Plus, Inc. is now hiring a Roadway Marking Technician for the local highway district in Boise, Idaho

Our client is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious individual to assist with roadway marking projects throughout the district. This is an excellent seasonal opportunity lasting up to 8 months, with a four-day workweek and the potential to be a great summer/fall job. Sign up today!

Pay and schedule: $19.00/hour. Monday–Thursday, 3:00 AM–1:30 PM. After Labor Day: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM. Enjoy a four 10’s schedule with Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays off!

What you’ll do:

• Complete roadway marking projects, including reflective markers, hot tape, and paint striping

• Apply markings for crosswalks, arrows, bike lanes, railroad crossings, stop bars, school crossings, pedestrian crossings, and bike paths

• Operate airless equipment and pavement-marking stencils

• Follow work orders to accurately complete required roadway markings

• Care for and maintain a 1-ton District truck

• Clean and maintain paint stencils and equipment

• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues

• Work safely around traffic and within the roadway right-of-way

• Perform other related duties as assigned

What you’ll need:

• Valid driver’s license

• Ability to work well in a team environment

• Ability to follow directions, processes, and procedures

• Commitment to following all safety policies and regulations

• Ability to safely and professionally operate District vehicles and equipment

• Ability to work 10-hour shifts outdoors in all weather conditions

• Ability to pass a background check
