Personnel Plus, Inc. is now hiring a Quality Inspector in Boise, Idaho

Our client, a reputable local company, is immediately hiring a Quality Control Inspector to inspect machined and fabricated components and support quality initiatives throughout production. This is a full-time career opportunity offering excellent weekday hours, advancement potential, and employer-paid benefits upon hire.

Pay and schedule: Starting at $18/hour or more, depending on experience. Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional overtime. Enjoy weekends off!

What you’ll do:

  • Perform in-process and final quality-control inspections

  • Ensure machined and fabricated components meet customer specifications

  • Gather and compile quality data for First Article Inspections

  • Help maintain compliance with ISO 9001 quality standards

  • Read customer packaging requirements and verify final packaging

  • Communicate with employees, vendors, and customers by phone, email, and online systems

  • Assist with quality documentation, reporting, and tracking

  • Support production and quality initiatives across departments

  • Perform other related duties as assigned

What you’ll need:

  • Previous quality-assurance or quality-control experience

  • Experience using precision measuring tools, such as CMMs, height gauges, profilometers, and calipers

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Effective communication with customers, suppliers, and team members

  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office

  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record

  • Reliable transportation

  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems is highly preferred

  • GD&T knowledge is a plus

  • Experience with tubing, pipes, valves, or fittings is helpful but not required

  • SolidWorks or QuickBooks experience is a plus

  • Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
