Personnel Plus, Inc. is now hiring Pest Control Field Technician in Meridian, Idaho

Our client, the County Abatement Division, is seeking a dependable Pest Control Technician to identify and treat pest activity throughout the community. This is a full-time, long-term seasonal position lasting up to four months, with paid training and licensing provided.

Pay and schedule: Starting at $17.50/hour, with a pay increase upon licensing. Day shift, Monday–Friday. Receive a $100 sign-on bonus after completing your first 40-hour workweek!

What you’ll do:

• Identify pest activity and target species

• Safely mix and apply pesticides and rodenticides according to regulations

• Document treatment locations, product usage, and results

• Review and follow chemical labels and Safety Data Sheets

• Operate application equipment, hand tools, mobile devices, and GPS

• Monitor and maintain equipment, vehicles, and work areas

• Navigate outdoor environments and complete field assignments

• Handle pest removal as needed

• Safely operate County vehicles

• Perform other related duties as assigned

What you’ll need:

• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record

• Must have held a valid driver’s license for at least two years

• Ability to obtain a pest-control license within 30 days of hire

• Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions

• Ability to safely lift up to 25 pounds

• Basic math skills for mixing treatment applications

• Ability to follow chemical labels, SDS information, and work orders

• Comfortable using mobile devices and GPS

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
