Event Center Setup Crew Member - Boise

Personnel Plus, Inc. is now hiring for an Event Center Setup & Turnover Specialist at Barber Park in Boise, Idaho

Our client, County Parks and Waterways, is seeking a dependable employee for its event center turnovers at the Barber Valley location at Barber Park. This is an excellent opportunity to work with the local county and possibly continue working as a regular seasonal employee.

Pay and schedule: $18.00/hour. Flexibility to work weekends both Saturday & Sundays, holidays, and varying hours between 7:00 AM and 3:30 PM during peak season is required. This assignment will last from mid to late August until the end of December (may vary).

What you’ll do:

• Move tables and chairs to set up events at Barber Park Event Center

• Clean windows, fixtures, restrooms, and empty trash to ensure the facility is clean and organized

• Prepare the Event Center for move-in by cleaning and stocking supplies

• Perform basic maintenance of the Event Center, grounds, and public facilities

• Remove trash, sweep, mop, and complete general janitorial tasks

• Follow workplace safety procedures

• Assist with other Parks and Waterways duties as assigned

What you’ll need:

• Understanding of workplace safety procedures

• Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions

• Strong customer-service and professional communication skills

• Ability to work effectively with coworkers and the public

• Ability to safely lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical outdoor work

• Flexibility to work a nonstandard schedule, including weekends and holidays

• Ability to pass a drug screening
