- 40 hour weeks (OT available depending on assignment)
Duties:
- Receive, count, and verify incoming and outgoing shipments
- Verification of required receiving/shipped paperwork
- Organize product
- Communicate safety issues to manager/supervisor
- Maintain organized, safe, and clean working environment
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices, Policies and Procedures outlined in the Food Program
- Ability to maintain positive relationships with team members, vendors, and customers
- Help keep warehouse clean; dusting racks, sweeping, taking out garbage.
Requirements:
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and maintenance -guidelines
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle practical, hands-on tasks
- Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions
- Comfortable communicating with team members and customers
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently
- Must be able to crouch, squat, and stay on feet for long periods of time
- Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments
Working Conditions:
•Repetitive work in a fast-paced environment with average temperature of Zero degree freezers -60 degrees F (depending on worksite location)
•Some manual labor with heavy lifting required (approximately 40 pounds)
•Safety equipment may be required
