Pay and schedule: $20–$30/hour, depending on experience. Day shift, Monday–Friday.
What you’ll do:
Set up, program, and operate 2500SY CNC lathes with sub-spindle, Y-axis, and live tooling
Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs using GibbsCAM
Operate multiple machines while maintaining production quality and efficiency
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and sketches
Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision instruments
Ensure completed parts meet blueprint specifications and quality standards
Meet production schedules and efficiency goals
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members
Follow company policies, safety procedures, and attendance expectations
Assist with other machining and manufacturing duties as assigned
What you’ll need:
Five or more years of CNC programming experience is preferred
Job-shop manufacturing experience
Experience setting up and operating 2500SY CNC machines is preferred
Multi-axis CNC programming experience is preferred
GibbsCAM experience is preferred
PC-DMIS experience is a plus
Strong knowledge of manufacturing methods, fixturing, and machining techniques
Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions
Ability to inspect precision parts using measuring instruments and gauges
Basic math skills and strong mechanical aptitude
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently, stay organized, and manage multiple priorities
Ability to adapt to changing production demands
Commitment to maintaining a safe workplace
