Warehouse Associate: Monday-Friday, 9 AM- 6 PM * Overtime required
Acetylene Plant: Monday-Friday, 8 am – 5 pm * Overtime required
$18.00 p/h per hour to start!

Warehouse Associate Duties:

Safely fill cylinders with compressed and liquefied gases following all established processes
Responsible for maintaining inventories of full cylinders to meet customer needs
Unload trucks, move freight, and return goods and cylinders to proper holding and storage areas
Determine the weights of cylinders and freight on orders to be loaded on each truck/trailer
Load trucks/trailers so that applicable weight limits are not exceeded
Load, unload, and handle all materials carefully to prevent damage while loading, unloading, or during transport
Keep neat and accurate records as necessary
Other tasks as assigned or necessary

Acetylene Plant Operator Duties:

The safe start up and shut down of the plant at the beginning and end of each day
Operate and monitor plant during operational hours
Record required information on logs at required time intervals
Safely filling Hydrogen, Chemtane, and Propane cylinders, according to procedures
Respond to alarms promptly, assess the problem. and initiate the appropriate corrective action
Perform visual inspection on cylinders prior to filling
Safely fill acetylene cylinders and perform leak checks on all cylinders at predetermined PSIG
Verify labeling is correct and readable on filled cylinders
Follow established procedures for blowing acetylene cylinders down and getting them ready for re-qualification or maintenance
Other tasks as assigned or necessary

REQUIREMENTS:

High school graduate or equivalent
Accurately enter data into computers
Acquire a working knowledge of any software applications necessary to the position
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good organization skills
High attention to detail, keep accurate & neat records
Perform basic mathematics calculations
Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs.
Good problem-solving skills
Basic knowledge of cylinders and gases
Able to pass a background check
Be drug-free
