- Monday – Thursday
- Day shift
- $14 - $16 DOE
- 40-hour weeks (OT depending on orders)
Duties:
- Will assist in such activities as required to weatherize a home including, but not limited to:
- Attic, floor, heat duct, wall and water pipe insulation
- Installation of windows and doors
- Installation of energy saving devices
- Loading and unloading of weatherization materials
- Responsible for using reasoning and judgment in performing duties
- Must be able to complete documentation for reporting purposes
- Operate table saws, chop saws, circular saws and other standard carpentry tools
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 80 pounds
- Must be able to climb a ladder
- Minimum of one year construction experience on residential homes preferred
- Must have some knowledge of building materials
- Must be able to work in attics and floor crawlspaces with clearance as low as 24 inches
- High School diploma or GED
- Must be able to travel out of town overnight
- Valid Idaho drivers’ license preferred
