Microbiologist- State Laboratory  

Personnel Plus, Inc. is NOW HIRING a Microbiologist for a State Lab in Boise, Idaho

•    Excellent Opportunity with a State Lab in Boise, ID
•    Long-term assignment, approximately 1-year
•    Full time, Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
•    $20.00 p/h

Duties:

•    Providing support for the analysis of COVID-19 clinical samples
•    Perform laboratory accessioning, sample data entry, sample processing
•    Perform routine calibrations and preventative maintenance on laboratory equipment
•    Media and reagent preparation
•    Biohazardous waste disposal
•    Adhere to Good Laboratory Practices, institutional safety practices, and policies

Requirements:

•    Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Physical, Biological, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology from an accredited institution
•    Good knowledge of principles, laboratory practices, and application of microbiology
•    Good knowledge of biosafety practices and their application in microbiology laboratories
•    Strong knowledge of current laboratory methods, materials, and equipment
•    Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
